My wife and I spent a fantastic long weekend in Albuquerque and Santa Fe. The highlight might just be the massive storm that formed on the mountain at Albuquerque's Sandia Peak on Friday night.  We took the world's longest tram to the top of the mountain and as we were exploring we saw clouds bumping up against the mountains and brilliant flashes of lightning.  We sat down to a wonderful meal at the restaurant (appropriately named High Finance) and within thirty minutes the brilliant view of ...

Wednesday brought an emergency trip to Champaign in a driving rain.  The accomapying photo was generated by the Traxxit GPS installed in the car.  Traxxit is great for locating wanderers and can be installed in the car or worn as a pendant or on a keychain.  When the device travels outside a predetermined safe zone or geofence you will be notified by text or phone call and you can then log into the mapping program  and see a satellite view showing you where your loved one is located.
